Victoria Shaffer

Associate Professor of Psychology, University of Missouri-Columbia

I am a Quantitative Psychologist with a background in decision theory and behavioral economics. I currently hold a joint appointment in the Department of Health Sciences and the Quantitative division of the Department of Psychological Sciences at the University of Missouri. My research focuses on identifying and testing methods to improve the quality of decisions about healthcare. This work is largely devoted to the study of decision support tools for both healthcare providers (clinical decision support systems) and patients (patient decision aids)
