W. Andrew Baldwin

Associate Professor in Human Geography, Durham University

I've been at Durham University since 2009. My work examines how issues of power and race are reflected in science and policy debates about climate change and human migration. My book, The Other of Climate Change: Racial Futurism, Migration, Humanism, is forthcoming with Rowman and Littlefield in September 2022. I am also co-editor of Life Adrift: Climate Change, Migration, Critique (Rowman and Littlefield, 2017) and Climate Change, Migration, and Human Rights: Law and Policy Perspectives (Routhledge, 2017). I've also held positions at the University of Manchester and Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario.
