Wendy Lipworth

Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Bioethics at UNSW Australia

Dr Wendy Lipworth is medical graduate (UNSW 1999) and was awarded her PhD in 2009 (University of Sydney). Wendy is now a NH&MRC Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Australian Institute of Health Innovation. Her research focuses primarily on the influences on drug development/clinical research, as well as the links between clinical research, rational prescribing, evidence-based medicine and the "Quality Use of Medicines" (QUM). Other research interests include the peer review process in biomedicine and the ethics and law of biobanking (tissue banking).
