Witold Krajewski

Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Director of the Iowa Flood Center, University of Iowa

Witold F. Krajewski is a professor of civil and environmental engineering at the University of Iowa and founder and director of the Iowa Flood Center. He also serves as the Rose & Joseph Summers Chair in Water Resources Engineering and is a researcher with the Center for Global & Regional Environmental Research. His areas of expertise include hydrology and hydrometeorology; radar and satellite remote sensing and water resources systems. His research includes real-time flood forecasting, remote sensing of hydrologic processes; mathematical modeling of hydrologic processes; radar and satellite estimation of rainfall; uncertainty analysis and modeling in hydrology; and applications of informatics in hydrology.
