Until my retirement in 2011 I was the Secretary of the Victorian Department of Planning and Community Development. I was a Secretary for 9 years and held Deputy Secretary level positions in central and line Departments for a further 11 years.
Currently I hold a number of public board positions including Chairman, Port of Hastings Development Authority, Deputy Chair, VicTrak and Council Member, Monash University.
I am also VicePresident Institute of Public Administration Australia (I.P.A.A.)
