Researchers one step closer to Alzheimer’s blood test

A blood test to diagnose Alzheimer’s disease in its early stages, before symptoms arise, may be available in the future, according to recent research.

The research revealed that proteins in the blood could predict the presence of Alzheimer’s with 85% accuracy.

Current early diagnosis methods are either expensive or invasive. If it eventuates, the blood test will be a cheap and non-invasive procedure.
