What Conversation articles had the biggest impact on you in 2016?

The year is coming to a close and that means it’s time to take stock on what’s happened during 2016. We’ve compiled a best-of in our Yearbook 2016 and I thought it would be nice to see what articles had the biggest impact on our readers.

What have you enjoyed reading?

Perhaps, like me, you spent a lot with Raimond Gaita’s Reflections on the idea of a common humanity or Harith Bin Ramli’s Islamic State lays claim to Muslim theological tradition and turns it on its head.

(The whole Understanding Islamic State series, available as an ebook, was thought provoking if you ask me.)

What are your standout articles from us this year? What left you thinking or changed the way you view a subject or problem? Let us know in the comments or via email and include a sentence or two explaining why.

We’ll share your favourites on our Twitter account as #ReaderHighlights.

And do let us know if there’s anything you’d like to see more of in 2017.
