Alocohol linked to feeling immature

People who drink heavily into their 30s feel immature for their age, research has found.

The researchers from the University of Missouri interviewed the same 400 people when they were aged 25, 29 and 35 years.

Those who showed signs of alcohol abuse or dependency at 25 reported feeling immature for their age ten years later. Researchers state their findings may help young adults to know how their alcohol consumption and behaviours may have consequences for them later in life.
