Bacteria could help build ‘green’ computers

A type of bacteria that “eats” iron, leaving behind a surface of magnets, could be used to produce environmentally friendly computers.

Researchers from the University of Leeds suggest the bacterial base wiring could result in cheaper, faster computers that are grown biologically.
