Cats not being neutered quickly enough

Nearly 85% of cats are being neutered later than recommended, researchers at the University of Bristol have found.

Of those in the study, only 14% were neutered by the recommended age of four months and 26.5% were still yet to be neutered at six months.

The researchers believe cat owners need better information in order to prevent an increase in the number of unwanted cats in the UK.
