Depression screening tool for Indigenous Australians

A tool used to screen a person’s risk of depression has been modified for older Indigenous Australians who live in the Kimberley.

The modified tool was tested. Those identified using the tool as at-risk of depression had their diagnosis confirmed by a consultant psychiatrist.
