Keeping strawberries fungus-free

New research has identified how strawberry crops respond to a harmful fungal infection called Fusarium.

Fusarium fungus infects the plants roots and can seriously damage and kill the plants.

The impact of fungal infections in strawberries critically impacts growers’ yields.

This research will assist in the cultivation of healthier, more resistant strawberry plants, lower the need for anti-fungal chemical use and reduce costs for growers.
