Ary Hoffmann investigates how species can evolve to deal with climate change and identifies new ways of preventing mosquitoes spreading disease. His group also develops sustainable control options for agricultural pests, and ways of monitoring pollution impact in urban environments. Professor Hoffmann is a member of the Australian Academy of Science and a Foreign Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
