Bradley J. Moggridge

I am a proud Murri from the Kamilaroi Nation (North-West NSW), and I grew up in Western Sydney and now live in Canberra. I have qualifications - Masters of Science (Hydrogeology) from UTS and Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science) from ACU. I am currently an Associate Professor in Indigenous Water Science at the University of Canberra’s Centre for Applied Water Science.
I have won several awards, presented widely, published in his area and is on many committees – from local to international adding to my 25years in water and environmental science, cultural science, regulation, water planning and management, including policy development, legislative reviews, applied research and project management.
I am a Board member of the NSW EPA and also the Biodiversity Council and President of the Australian Freshwater Science Society (AFSS), a Governor of WWF Australia and member of the Wentworth Group of Concerned Scientists. I was previously part-time Indigenous Liaison Officer for Threatened Species Recovery Hub as a part of NESP until mid 2021. Prior to this employed by NSW DPI Water as the Team Leader Aboriginal Water Initiative (AWI) and was honored to lead the only dedicated Aboriginal water unit in Australia for nearly 5 years. I have also been employed by CSIRO, NSW DECC and EPA and in consulting.
