Brianna Smart

I am a postdoctoral research at the University of Hertfordshire, studying the Interstellar Medium in the Magellanic Clouds and working on the IRIS HPC radio astronomy project. I love participating in outreach to the general public, and publish a monthly astronomy column in the Welwyn Hatfield Times, Herts Advertiser, The Comet and Royston Crow

Outside my work in the UK, I am on the International Astronomical Union's Junior Member Organizing Committee, working to provide in person and online events relevant to the interests of young and early career astronomers worldwide.
