Eleanor K. Sansom

Research Associate, Curtin University

I completed my MSci in Geophysics at Imperial College, London and completed my PhD. with the Desert Fireball Network team in Perth, Australia. I am now a postdoctoral researcher at Curtin and am the project manager of the DFN, and now Global Fireball Observatory.

I am an avid supporter of inspiring the next generation in the fields of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) as a female role model.

I have participated in radio and TV broadcasts and am looking to start participating in the Conversation.

I am currently funded by the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research with the Desert Fireball Network receiving institutional support through the Space Science and Technology Centre at Curtin University and the Australian Research Council as part of the Australian Discovery Project scheme (DP230100301).
