Research Manager at MRC/Wits Agincourt Research Unit, University of the Witwatersrand

I have been working at the MRC/Wits Agincourt Research Unit, University of Witwatersrand, since 2005 and I have been the research manager since 2011. Previously, I held different researcher positions in Mozambique and Rwanda. I am a medical doctor specialist in public health and preventive medicine, with a PhD from the University of the Witwatersrand, an MSc in epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and an MSc in tropical medicine from the Universitat de Barcelona. I have recently completed the E. Bell Fellowship at the Harvard School of Public Health. My research focuses on the impact of the HIV/NCD epidemics on the health and wellbeing of older populations, and the evaluation of health chronic care systems in rural southern Africa.
