Jennifer Lavers (Métis Nation ᓲᐊᐧᐦᑫᔨᐤ)

Dr Lavers is a Lecturer in Ornithology at Charles Sturt University and a Healthy Country Plan Coordinator with Esperance Tjaltjraak Native Title Aboriginal Corporation. She is a marine biologist with expertise in seabird ecology and marine pollution (chemicals and plastic debris). She works closely with Aboriginal communities and Ranger groups, and supervises a large number of graduate students in Australia and abroad working on a diverse array of projects.
