Jo Anderson is a Lecturer in Inclusive Education in the School of Education at the University of New England, Australia. She is in the final stages of completing her PhD at the university, where she is looking at the values and attitudes of primary school principals, and the impact of this on their work to create inclusive school cultures. Other research interests include inclusive education contexts, school leadership and inclusive education, and the ethical and moral considerations of inclusive education. Previously Jo has worked in primary education settings across Australia as a teacher and, more recently, a school leader where she was responsible for the development and implementation of inclusive educational practices. Whilst leaving the school sector early this year, Jo has maintained her collegial relationships with schools and continues to work to develop leadership that promotes and nurtures inclusive school environments.
