Lecturer in Psychological Interventions, University of Central Lancashire

Lowri is a Lecturer in Psychological Interventions at the University of Central Lancashire. Lowri's area of interest is in Positive Psychology and the Science of Happiness. Lowri has worked as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner within the NHS, offering treatment and working in a senior supervision and leadership role. Lowri is passionate about enhancing health and wellbeing and has a special interest in Positive Psychology and positive interventions. Lowri is embarking on research around happiness workshops for people with common mental health problems. Lowri has also developed a Science of Happiness course (Happy Hour) that is being delivered within the NHS to staff and patients. It covers the science of happiness, why laughter is the best medicine- the healing power of humour as well as positive ageing – how to enjoy later life.
