Mamadou Coulibaly

Dr. Mamadou Coulibaly is the Principal Investigator of Target Malaria in Mali
After having obtained his doctorate degree in Pharmacy in 1999 from Mali, Dr Coulibaly went to the University of Notre Dame from where he obtained his PhD in Biological Sciences in 2006. Since then, Dr Coulibaly has been back in Mali where he leads a research laboratory at the University of Bamako Malaria Research Training Centre (MRTC). His lines of research include developing novel genetic approaches for malaria vector control. He is also involved in operational research oriented toward vector control of diseases such as malaria and dengue to help making informed decisions by policymakers.
