Md Mejbaul Haque is recently joined as a Research Fellow in Battery Energy Storage and Grid Integration Program at the Australian National University where he is currently working on the Realising Electric Vehicles-to-grid Services (REVS) project. He received his M.Eng and PhD degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Central Queensland University, Australia in February 2016 and November 2020 respectively. He also received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology and Khulna University of Engineering & Technology, Bangladesh in 2010 and 2013 respectively. He has authored and coauthored more than 30 technical papers including book chapters, journals, and conference papers in electrical engineering. His research interests include battery energy storage, electric vehicle charging, power quality, power electronics, renewable energy technologies and smart grid.

He served IEEE PELS student subcommittee 2020 as a member. He has organised many conferences in the past years and severed as student activities chair in IEEE SPEC 2020 and IEEE i-COSTE 2020. He is a successful recipient of Thesis Excellence Award for his M.Eng thesis, best paper award in IEEE R10 HTC 2017 and travel grants in IEEE R10 HTC 2017, IEEE IAS 2019, IEEE PESGRE 2020 conferences. He is a member of Engineers Australia (MIEAust) and a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Queensland (RPEQ).
