Michael James Day, PhD, FRSA, SFHEA is a British Sociologist, Web Scientist and Educational Researcher. A qualified teacher, for fifteen years, he has served in educational leadership positions across the world. His PhD, Teaching the Web: Moving Towards Principles for Web Education, investigated teaching about the Web in schools. Currently, he is Associate Professor of Higher Education, at the Reader Level, and Institutional Lead of Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) at The University of Greenwich, London, UK. His current research explores the interdisciplinary role of AI in shaping higher education and student wellbeing.
