Physician Assistant in Gastroenterology, Morehouse School of Medicine

Mrs. RaKetra Snipes is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) who joined the Division of Gastroenterology at Morehouse School of Medicine in 2022. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies from Morehouse School of Medicine in 2021. She graduated from Clark Atlanta University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry followed by a Master of Science and Interdisciplinary Health Sciences from Drexel University. RaKetra has received many accolades and is a member of several professional organizations. As a member of the inaugural PA class at Morehouse School of Medicine, she was awarded the Excellence in Community Engagement award. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Georgia Association of Physician Assistants, American Gastroenterological Association, and Atlanta Medical Association and is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.

RaKetra’s goals are rooted in providing equitable, patient-centered care to underserved populations. She understands the importance of access, education, and patient engagement are keys to improving health outcomes. Her passion for minority patient engagement in clinical trials is helping her team to make a difference in the communities of colors they serve.
