Rodney Gabel is a professor and the Founding Director of the Division of Speech-Language Pathology at Binghamton University. Dr. Gabel's primary research focus is on stuttering, specifically the psycho-social impact of stuttering, treatment outcomes, and issues related to training of future speech-language pathologists. Dr. Gabel has completed more than 100 conference presentations and published nearly 75 research articles. Finally, he holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech and Language Pathology form the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association, as well as a member of the National Stuttering Association and a member of the Board of Directors for the International Stuttering Association.
