Taibat is a HCPC Registered Dietitian. She has experience working within the NHS as an Acute Dietitian and been involved in public health interventions and research.
Her areas of interest in research include public health nutrition, appetite, obesity, nutrition in older adults and nutrition in Black and Minority ethnic groups.
Her current research project focuses on the effects of texture modified and regular meals fortified with protein on appetite and dietary intake in UK older adults. In addition, she aims to explore whether changes in the appearance and flavours of texture modified meals influence food intake and within meal satiety.
Taibat is passionate about promoting evidence-based nutrition information and dispelling nutrition myths. She enjoys helping people from different age groups and backgrounds to achieve their health and nutrition goals in a safe, suitable and sustainable manner.
