Lecturer in British Politics and Public Policy, University of Manchester

Tim specialises in British foreign and defence policy, identity politics, the Liberal Democrats, and England in his research, and teaches broadly across British politics and public policy. He graduated with a PhD entitled "Britannia Rules? Does the Coalition government represent a continuation of an elite conception of Britain's place in the world?" from the University of Hull in 2016, and since then has held teaching posts at Hull, UCL, and now the University of Manchester.
