Research Scientist, University of Colorado Boulder

I am a research scientist at the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) and Department of Chemistry, University of Colorado Boulder. Since 2014, I have been working with Prof. Jose-Luis Jimenez at CIRES. I am largely a modeler and model a range of things in the air across different scales that can be deleterious to human health. They include volatile organic compounds (VOC) and their oxidation and transformation into particulate matter (PM) in the atmosphere, as well as similar processes in lab experiments simulating atmospheric chemistry. Recently, I have also been modeling indoor air pollutants, i.e. VOC, PM and most importantly airborne pathogens, including the one causing COVID-19.
