Puzzles improve spatial skills in children

Children playing with puzzles between the ages of 26 and 46 months of age display better spatial skills at the age of 54 months.

The University of Chicago study reinforces that view that the ability to mentally transform shapes can be an important predictor of educational aptitude and career success in older children.
