University to study why 2012 is the year for change

“Project 2012” involves 205 academics from 78 countries and will look at the impact of the national elections in China, France, Russia, and the United States. A further 24 countries around the world — including India, Spain and Mexico — will also hold elections in 2012.

The academic project will analyse these future “global political, social and economic upheavals” to better prepare global decision makers.
