As election day edges closer, the Labor Party finds itself without much of a tailwind. University of Canberra acting vice-chancellor Frances Shannon and Michelle Grattan discuss the importance for Bill Shorten to bring together Labor’s story at the official campaign launch on Sunday.

“The economic story is not tied adequately to the various initiatives in education and health. Bill Shorten really needs to have all that bundled together and make it sound convincing to the voters,” says Grattan.
