The Victorian Infectious Diseases Reference Laboratory (VIDRL) is the state’s largest public health reference laboratory with core responsibilities in virology and mycobacteriology. VIDRL also provides expertise in bacteriology, parasitology, epidemiology and molecular detection technologies. VIDRL has state, national and international roles.
