Tari’s research investigates how to support evidence-based decision-making. She is currently involved in CIPHER (the Centre for Informing Policy in Health with Evidence from Research) exploring how to support use of research by policymakers; and SEA-URCHIN (South East Asia – Using Research for Change in Hospital-acquired Infection in Neonates) investigating whether implementation of research evidence can improve prevention and treatment of neonatal infection in nine hospitals in South East Asia.
