Alejandra Garrido Atienza

She received a degree in engineering and a master's degree in telecommunications from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Barcelona. She has been working on microwave systems and antenna design, since 2018, as a part-time Research Assistant at Comsenslab (UPC). In 2018, she completed her stay at Aalto University, Finland, designing integrated antennas for green buildings. She is currently working as a Software Engineer with MiWEndo Solutions. She has co-authored four scientific articles. She has experience working in machine learning and computer vision. She is a feminist activist promoting technology among girls and leads the non-profit organization Young IT Girls.
