Amirah Ellyza Wahdi

I am a public health researcher focusing on population health and reproductive health and rights.
My work is concentrated on assessing adolescents' health and well-being status. This includes adolescent reproductive & sexual health and mental health. I also work on childhood oncology, mainly on the effect of sociodemographic factors on childhood cancer patients' survival and quality of life.
Other than that, I am actively involved in Biobank Unit development at Universitas Gadjah Mada. I also contribute to several programs and policies development and implementation in the field.
I got my medical degree from Universitas Gadjah Mada and my master's degree from Johns Hopkins University. Since 2018, I have been working at the Faculty of Medicine, Public Health, and Nursing Universitas Gadjah Mada.
