Dr. Amy Slogrove is a South African pediatrician and epidemiologist working to better understand how HIV affects children and adolescents. Amy conducted a postdoctoral research fellowship on the global epidemiology of adolescents living with HIV at the University of Cape Town under Prof. Mary-Ann Davies. She is now leading the establishment of a rural maternal and child health research unit at the Worcester campus of Stellenbosch University with a specific interest in exposures during pregnancy and their impact on infants, children and adolescents.
