Antonio Di Paolo

Dr. Antonio Di Paolo is an Assistant Professor (Professor Lector) at the Department of Econometrics, Statistics and Applied Economics of the University of Barcelona. He obtained his PhD in 2011 at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. His main research fields are education, labour and regional economics and he worked intensively on the topic of language economics. Dr. Di Paolo published 12 papers in peer-reviewed academic journals with JRC impact factor such as the Economics of Education Review and Economic Inquiry and several book chapters. His recent research focuses on the impact of language-in-education policies and the economic value of bilingualism.
