I graduated from the University of Surrey with a BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics. I then started by PhD entitled "PRELUDE; predicting weight-loss using differential equations" which provides a novel method of weight-loss prediction using mathematical modelling. My research focuses primarily on drivers of weight-loss resistance, including both obligatory and adaptive changes in energy expenditure with the aim of quantifying their impact on weight-loss. I am also interested in identifying additional predictors of weight outcome that may relate to genetics, appetite, hormones, mealtimes etc.
