Bethan Thompson

Bethan is a PhD student at the University of Edinburgh and Scotland's Rural College studying food waste in the dairy supply chain. She has an MSc Food Security (distinction), also from the University of Edinburgh and was awarded the prize for best overall contribution to the programme in 2014. Prior to returning to post-graduate study Bethan worked as a management consultant in the public and international development sectors, working in both project management and analytical roles. She holds a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.
