Charlotte Pezaro

I am passionate about primary teaching, science education, technology education, and working with teachers to become competent and confident teachers of science and technology.

I completed a Bachelor of Science (Psychology), a Graduate Bachelor of Education (Primary), and hold a PhD in science education from the University of Queensland. In my research, I examined the claim made in many curriculum documents around the world that “learning science helps people to make good decisions.”

I was a primary school teacher with Education Queensland for 6 years, teaching in remote, regional, and city locations. I also developed and coordinated several courses in the Primary initial teacher education programs at the University of Queensland. Today, I support teachers to extend their pedagogical capacity for teaching science, technologies, and mathematics.

I reserve the right to change my mind.
