Craig Pournara

My teaching and research work is in maths teacher education. My PhD focused on mathematics teacher knowledge with particular focus on knowledge of pre-service secondary maths teachers for teaching financial maths in schools. My current work is in in-service maths teacher education where I am particularly interested in developing and delivering high quality maths professional development and the impact it has on improving learner attainment.

I am a qualified maths teacher and taught maths and IT in local secondary schools.
