Dale has 14 years of research experience, contributed towards and lead on several research papers, as well as on professional and trade papers. Dale has mentored numerous early career academics through the commonly recognised domains of academia. Engaged with industry, discipline & community members as part of his teaching of the disciplines of Environmental Health, Occupational Health and Safety, and Disaster Management.
Dale has been a reviewer for several international journals and conferences since 2006. Dale has been on the international board of reviewers for AaeE conference (2006), Informing Science & IT Education conference (InSITE) (2007-present), HERDSA journal (2010-11), HSE journal (2014), IJIKM journal (2016) and Society & Animals journal (2011-13), keeping abreast of the latest research on education. In 2013 Dale was awarded the Best Reviewer Award for the InSITE conference, Portugal. Dale is currently an Editor for the IJIKM journal.
