Danielle Logan-Fleming

A Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), Danielle actively participates in international-level research, special interest groups and forums, consulting with colleagues and providing advice within both the education and industry sectors. She has received Group, Vice Chancellor and University awards for Innovation and Excellence in Teaching and a National Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning in recognition of the impactful Teaching & Learning projects she has led to completion. In 2023, Danielle's innovation, leadership and impact in the area of Interactive Oral Assessments was recognised by the Australian Financial Review Higher Education Awards, winning the Teaching & Learning Excellence category. Danielle’s areas of expertise include authentic assessment, academic integrity, and curriculum alignment. She has been invited to present at numerous international learning and teaching showcase events, including Turnitin and Transforming Assessment webinars on assessment, a knowledge artefact for the 2022 UNESCO World Higher Education Conference and highly successful papers at the BbWorld 20, Australasian Society for Computers in Learning in Tertiary Education (ASCILITE) 2019 and the 2017 AACE World e-Learn Conferences. Danielle is a Co-Leader of ASCILITE’s Contextualising Horizon Project, a founding leader of the ASCILITE Business Education SIG. Danielle has contributed to numerous grants and SoTL publications, including collaborating as an expert international panellist on the 2019, 2020 and 2021 Higher Education Horizon Reports (EDUCAUSE).
