Member of the ICMAT, AXA-ICMAT Chair in Adversarial Risk Analysis and Member of the Spanish Royal Academy of Sciences, Instituto de Ciencias Matemáticas (ICMAT-CSIC)
David is AXA-ICMAT Chair in Adversarial Risk Analysis at ICMAT-CSIC and memeber of the Spanish Royal Academy of Sciences. He is Professor of OR and Stats at UCM. He has previously held research or teaching positions at Manchester, Leeds, Duke, Purdue, Paris-Dauphine, Aalto, CNR-IMATI, IIASA, SAMSI, UPM, URJC and USST. Among others, he has received de ISBA DeGroot Priza for his monograph on Adversarial Risk Analysis. He is scientific advisor of Aisoy Robotics.
Has written more than 140 refereed papers and 17 monographs about his topics of interest which include Bayesian inference, data science, decision analysis and risk analysis, and their applications to security and cybersecurity.
