David Semaan

I am a PhD candidate at York University. My research has focused on policing in Canada and police relations with queer communities. I have a forthcoming chapter publication in spring 2024 titled: 'Radical Pedagogy for the present: Vignettes on Decolonial Feminist potential in the Classroom'. The edited book is titled: Feministing In Political Science: a Manifesta for change.

My current research focuses on Canada's relationship in the global surveillance economy of AI with states in the Middle East and North Africa, and its uses on queer communities.
