Research assistant in Political Science, University of Victoria

Dempsey Wilford recently completed his master's degree in political science at the University of Victoria. His thesis explored the politics of silence between medical professionals and patients after a medical error occurs, and advocated for apology as a just, ethical, and healing response to medical errors. Currently, Dempsey is a research assistant on a project funded by the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research that explores the impact of apology from the perspective of patients.
