Associate Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research Training and Development, RMIT University

Denise Cuthbert is the Associate Deputy Vice Chancellor, Research Training and Development at RMIT and has published extensively on child separation, adoption and family formation; and on higher education policy and practice. She is the author (with Marian Quarly and Shurlee Swain) of The Market in Babies: Adoption in Australia (2013) and with Kate Cregan, Globalised Childhoods: Issues and Debates (2014). Her research on higher education is published in a range of international journals including Higher Education, Studies in Higher Education, and Gender and Education. In 2016-2017, she held the elected position of Convenor of the Australian Conuncil of Graduate Research,
