Dr. Temitope Francis Abiodun

Dr. Temitope Francis Abiodun is a renowned scholar of Politics, International Relations, Peace and Security Studies at the Institute for Peace and Strategic Studies, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. He is an expert in the areas of Politics, Intelligence Studies/Analysis, Arms Control/Non-Proliferation, National and Global Security, and Border Security. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree of Political Science; M.Sc. in International Relations; and Ph.D in Peace and Security Studies. He won an award as the best security researcher of Iyaafin Liadi Ajibike Scholarship Foundation, South-West, Nigeria in 2018. He had his Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Oxford, United Kingdom between 2018 and 2019. Dr. Abiodun has also attended various local and international conferences, training, and seminars on Peace and Security, Mediation, and Intelligence Analysis; and has extensively published ground-breaking articles in reputable books and journals. His main academic interest is to develop and promote peace and security studies programmes and produce publications geared towards ensuring lasting peace, national, regional and global security in all ramifications. He is happily married and blessed with three male children.
