Eleonore Lebre

Eleonore is a recipient of the 2022 Discovery Early Career Reseacher Award (DECRA) from the Australian Research Council. Her project at the Centre for Social Responsibility in Mining focuses on ESG risks associated with the supply of minerals critical to the global energy transition.
Eleonore holds a PhD from the University of Queensland. Her thesis applies the concept of circular economy to the management of mining waste in the objectives of minimising the mine's environmental footprint and optimising resource extraction.
