Elizabeth Damato

Associate Professor of Nursing, Case Western Reserve University

Dr. Damato received her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, her masters degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and received her PhD in Nursing from Boston College. She co-directs the Neuroscience Laboratory at Case Western Reserve University School of Nursing. Her current research program focuses on characterizing symptoms of central nervous system activity during stress, psychological challenge, and sleep restriction. In addition to a clinical background in pediatrics and maternal-child health, she has also completed formal training in neurobiology and neuroanatomy at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine.
